THE CHALLENGE
The brief was to redesign the website to be responsive and be able to house all these venues under one roof but still keep the strong branding presence of each venue. Aside from digital work, advertising campaigns per venue arose from time to time, so branding exercises such as creating marketing collateral needed to also be produced.
MY ROLE
As the role of Senior designer I worked within a in-house marketing team to produce branding collateral for all the bars and restaurants under the Merivale Group umbrella. During this time the company’s website needed to be re-designed and took the role of producing mockups and designs for dev. The website at the time was still in flash and needed to be converted into a site that allowed for easy content changes in a CMS and also be made responsive for modern times.

THE SOLUTION
Initially the website was dynamic and changed depending on the data received from online analytics, the homepage image allowed for A/B testing. In the first year of redesign the numbers on online engagement grew by 200%. Dev was outsourced and website was built externally.
